Activates the Change Data Capture (CDC) feature from a CDC-enabled database. This option requires a CDC license.

Syntax

proutil db-name -C activatecdc

Parameters

db-name
The name of the database where you are activating CDC.

This option lets users activate the CDC feature online if the database has the CDC feature enabled but inactive.

Successful execution of ACTIVATECDC activates the CDC feature online. After the transaction of the activation is committed, CDC activity resumes on active CDC policies.
