ABL message logging
Specifying the ABL message (4GLMessages)
log entry type turns on logging of ABL (Advanced Business Language)
messages. It causes OpenEdge to write all ABL VIEW-AS
ALERT-BOX messages to the log file. If the Debug Alert
(-debugalert) startup parameter is used, the ABL
stack is also written to the log file at the time of the message.
Information is logged at Level 2 (Basic) and higher. Log entries
generated for this type contain the tag 4GLMESSAGE.
Note: You do not need to turn on ABL message logging to have
messages logged for the AppServer.
