The following new features and improvements were added to MOVEit Automation 2022.1.

SFTP FIPS Mode

The MOVEit Automation SFTP library provides cryptographic capabilities and algorithms that conform to Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS 140-2). The FIPS validated secure encryption, key exchange, host key, client key, MAC, and compression algorithms are predefined in the MOVEit Automation Config Utility.

FIPS 140-2 cryptography modules are validated by the NIST Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP).

For more information, see the Config Utility General Tab documentation.

Secure Parameters

MOVEit Automation 2022.1 enables the creation of secure parameters, which allows users to encrypt and hide parameter values. Secure parameters are decrypted during task execution but remain hidden from logging or export. The parameter value is replaced with “(suppressed)” in logs or exports, and an encrypted version of the parameter if necessary.

OAuth Authentication for POP3 Connections

MOVEit Automation 2022.1 users can utilize OAuth as a form of authentication for POP3 hosts. This ensures a reliable connection to POP3 hosts using Microsoft Office 365 or other POP3 providers that support OAuth.

Advanced Task Updates

Add comments to advanced tasks MOVEit Automation users can now add in-line no operation comments to advanced tasks. The human readable comments can be added to any location within the task steps.

Disable advanced task steps MOVEit Automation users can now disable and enable one or more steps in advanced tasks, including entire file loops and conditional branches. Disabled steps are visible but do not execute so users can test multiple scenarios without the need to delete steps or clone tasks.

TLS 1.3 Support

MOVEit Automation 2022.1 introduces support for the TLS 1.3 protocol. This support makes the latest and most secure TLS standard available when running on Windows 2022.

Amazon AWS RDS Database Compatibility

MOVEit Automation 2022.1 is now compatible with Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) hosted versions of Microsoft SQL Server. For more information, see Server Requirements.

Email Filtering

Enhanced filtering allows users to filter results based on email recipients. Filtering returns values for Next Actions > Send Email in traditional tasks, Send email steps in advanced tasks, and send an email attachment as a destination in traditional and advanced tasks.
