Large file support allows you to support extent sizes in excess of 2 gigabytes (GB), up to a maximum size of 1 terabyte (TB), provided that the operating system supports large files. Large files are supported in OpenEdge 12.2 under an Enterprise license, and support is enabled by default. In subsequent versions of OpenEdge, large files are supported under all licenses.
