Introduction
Semaphore Publisher is used to transform the model into the highly available searchable version that is served by the “Semantic Enhancement Server” (SES) and into the set of rulebases that are used by the “Classification Server” (CS).
By using other “Output Processors” it can also do things like, backup the model, save that backup to a GIT repository, notify external systems (via and HTTP request) that the publish event has occurred or even run any arbitrary external executable. See Output Processors for a full list of what is available.
Before Semaphore 5.4 the Publisher was provided as a separate plugin. From Semaphore 5.6, it is supplied as part of the Studio installation, so no further installation is required.
