Users also can define concepts in your model as a belonging to the same group, or Class, in Knowledge Model Management (KMM). Once defined, you can tell the Rulebase Template to treat all terms in a certain Class in the same way.

For example, you may want all terms with a Class of “Company” to look for only matches that are uppercased. Classification Service (CS) would find far fewer instances of “Apple” than “apple.” Making this change on every term in your model would take considerable time and effort. Defining it as a Class allows you to have the Rulebase Templates treat all of these terms in the same.
