Generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR)

To create a CSR please complete the following steps:

1. In the main menu, go to Certificates & Security > Generate CSR.

   

2. Fill in the details in the resulting screen. The Common Name field is mandatory, all other fields are optional.
3. Click Create CSR.
   Note: The resulting key size will be 2048 bits.
   
4. The CSR id displayed. Copy the CSR into a file and send it to your Certificate Authority for signing. The Certificate Authority will provide you with the certificate which will be put on the server.
