Schema definition and management

This section defines the schema objects that are exposed for a data source and accessed by the OpenAccess SDK SQL engine and by the client applications.

If you are going to use the OpenAccess SDK Schema Database, use the steps provided in this section to create the required entries and the details about each schema object.

If you are going to use the dynamic schema mode, in which your IP will provide the schema information through the SCHEMA function, read this section to learn the following:

• Required values for the fields in each schema object
• Operations that the IP must perform to return the schema information to the OpenAccess SDK SQL engine
