Cloud and Virtualization Support Policy
Corticon can be deployed in virtualized, containerized, and cloud environments, including:
- Server virtualization and virtual machines
- Virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
- Containers and container orchestration platforms
- Public, private, and hybrid cloud environments
Unless otherwise stated, Progress supports Corticon when it is deployed on operating systems and with other platform components listed as supported in this document. This includes deployments hosted on platforms such as VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and other comparable infrastructure technologies.
Support applies to Corticon software and its interaction with supported operating systems, Java distributions, application servers, databases, and other documented dependencies. It does not constitute certification or support of the underlying cloud, virtualization, container, networking, storage, identity, or orchestration platform.
When investigating an issue, customers may be asked to assist Progress in determining whether the issue is caused by Corticon, its configuration, or the underlying infrastructure. This may include reproducing the issue in a simplified or standard supported environment when reasonably practical. Issues determined to originate in the underlying platform or its configuration may need to be addressed with the applicable platform vendor.
Progress will provide support in accordance with the customer’s active maintenance and support agreement.
