Malicious Edge and Chrome extensions delivering backdoors through email attachments
Security researchers have identified malware that spreads through malicious email attachments. This malware uses remote access tools to take control of infected systems and installs browser extensions that function as backdoors. These extensions steal information that users enter in their browsers.
Flowmon ADS detects communication between the malware and its command and control (C&C) servers.
