OpenEdge Management provides you with the means to monitor your network resources and your local and remote system, file, database, and OpenEdge server ( NameServer, and WebSpeed Transaction Server) resources. You receive feedback on each resource OpenEdge Management is monitoring, based on performance criteria that you establish. If a resource's performance does not meet the criteria you set, you determine the action OpenEdge Management takes.

You can also collect performance metrics of OpenEdge resources, such as OpenEdge database and PAS for OpenEdge, by using OpenEdge Command Center agents. The agents use OpenTelemetry Protocol to collect the metrics.
