OpenEdge Management (OEM)

The OpenEdge Management Console provides visibility into a broad range of configuration, performance and status information on resources. It offers a variety of capabilities to the administrator or user to manage and monitor the performance of OpenEdge resources (PAS for OpenEdge instances and databases). OpenEdge Management allows you to:

  • Start and stop resources (databases and servers)
  • Deploy and undeploy application resources to servers
  • Proactively detect, prevent and troubleshoot failures to improve reliability
  • Collect and store necessary data for reports and future reference
  • Display resource information and data for the benefit of the system administrator
