The OpenEdge HealthScanner is an essential monitoring tool for maintaining continuous operation of your application's ecosystem.
This tool monitors system and server performance and can be used to automate recycling agent processes to reduce failure risks and increase application uptime. Designed for system administrators, OpenEdge HealthScanner scans the system continuously, to monitor key health metrics, and when called, indicates if pre-set thresholds are exceeded. For the continuous operation solution, the HealthScanner is used in tandem with a load balancer to identify and remove problematic application server instances before they fail. This preemptive action saves an enterprise and its users from experiencing application downtime.
