MOVEit Transfer Documentation

This is the MOVEit Transfer guide for administrators. It contains a comprehensive set of information for organization administrators and system administrators as well as users.

MOVEit Transfer documentation includes, but is not limited to:

• Release Notes – what's new, what's fixed, system and software requirements, and a quick start/install section.
• User Guide – for regular users (covers File Transfer and Ad Hoc Transfer). The other user guides have a subset of the information in this guide, and may also contain information specific to the user type.
• Temporary User Guide – for users with limited access, temporary accounts, often with download quotas or access with specific time constraints (and including Ad Hoc transfer, if configured). The Secure Folder Sharing feature set enables upload and collaboration actions for Temporary Users (if admins or authorized regular users extend their folder permissions).
• Guest User Guide – for unregistered users (covers limited Ad Hoc Transfer features). Ad Hoc covers person-to-person file transfers most often associated with email attachments or messages directly sent using MOVEit Transfer.
• Administrator Guide (this guide) – for org admins and system admins (complete configuration, technical, and user information)
• RESTful API Guide – for systems integrators and programmers.
