.NETPrerequisites
Corticon Server .NET requires:
- Visual Code C++ Redistributable 2012 (x64) (1)
- Visual Code C++ Redistributable 2010 (x64) or SQL Server 2012 Native Client (x64) (2)
- .NET Framework runtime 4.0 or higher (3)
- Download available from Microsoft.
- Corticon bundles Oracle Java 8 which requires mscvr100.dll. This is available with either SQL Server 2012 Native Client (x64) or Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 (x64), downloads available from Microsoft. Alternatively, a supported Java 11 distribution can be used with Corticon. Java 11 does not have a dependency on mscvr100.dll.
- Corticon sample .NET in-process projects require the .NET Framework. The .NET Framework is by default preinstalled with all supported Windows versions and can be downloaded from Microsoft.
Eclipse
Corticon Studio bundles Eclipse 4.9. Corticon Studio plugins may be installed into the following Eclipse versions:

Unless explicitly stated, Progress supports Corticon on Operating Systems listed in this document, irrespective of any given cloud or virtualization technology. In case of any issue, the same problem should be reproducible on a standard OS installation to get support in line with the customer’s support agreement, i.e., you must ensure that changes/customization of the cloud virtualization platform isn’t causing the issue.
