Uninstalling
You can uninstall WS_FTP Server by using the application executable (.exe) file or the Control Panel.
Application executable (.exe) file
- Double click the application executable (.exe) file.
- Select Uninstall WS_FTP Server, and click Next.
The Uninstallation Options screen presents options for removing the configuration data.
Control Panel
- Open the Control Panel and select Programs > Uninstall a program.
- Select WS_FTP Server, and click Uninstall.

Uninstallation Options
If you choose to uninstall WS_FTP Server, you can choose to maintain or remove your configuration data.
- Keep my configuration data but install WS_FTP Server
- Select this option if you want to maintain the configuration data in the database, for example when you plan to upgrade or migrate to another database.
- Remove my configuration data and uninstall WS_FTP Server
- Select this option to permanently remove your configuration data during the uninstall process.
- Also remove PostgreSQL database server
- Select this option to remove the PostgreSQL server at the same time as removing the configuration data and uninstalling WS_FTP Server. Note: If you created other databases on the PostgreSQL server, they will also be removed.
- Select this option to remove the PostgreSQL server at the same time as removing the configuration data and uninstalling WS_FTP Server.
