Down Interfaces report reveals network interfaces that show either a critical monitor or all monitors in a down state.
Understand column data
The default view of each report contains a grid with the following columns:
-
Device. Device hostname, IP address, or custom label.
- Interface. Interface name and unique index. For example,
Ethernet0.Note: The Interface column displays the interface name because Discovery automatically populates the report with Active Monitor information. When creating an active monitor manually, add the interface name to the Comment field of the Active Monitor Properties dialog, otherwise the Interface column in this report will appear blank.
- Status. State of device as of last poll.
- Last Poll. Date and time of last poll.
