The credentials library stores login, community string, and database connection information in a central area for Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), Telnet, SSH, ActiveX Data Objects (ADO), and VMware connections used in . Use the credentials library to manage the credentials required to connect to devices and read from devices you monitor and databases you query.

  • Click New to create a new credential to add to the library.
  • Select an existing credential from the list and click Edit to make changes to that credential.
  • Select an existing credential from the list and click Copy to make an exact copy of the selected credential.
  • Select an existing credential from the list and click Delete to remove the credential from the library.
