Enter name of the Elasticsearch host, applicable port number, and username and password combination (if using a secure connection), then click Next. Please note, we do not recommend using localhost as your Elasticsearch server as it could affect performance. Your WhatsUp Gold instance and your Elasticsearch instance should run on separate machines.

If you do not wish to enable Log Management during WhatsUp Gold installation, simply click Next to continue without entering any Elasticsearch information. If you decide to use Log Management in the future, you can add add your Elasticsearch information using the Log Management settings dialog after WhatsUp Gold installation is complete. This dialog is accessible by selecting Log Management > Log Management Settings from the SETTINGS menu in the user interface.
