The Event Viewer is used to view some log messages and primarily used as an internal troubleshooting tool. Access the Event viewer from \Program Files\Ipswitch\WhatsUp\EventViewer.exe .

After talking with Jamie, he recommended that the new logging/debugging capabilities, as well as the older eventviewer.exe, are provided as an internal troubleshooting tool. Typically customers will not use these tools or will work with support to troubleshoot issues. Jamie has provided an information resource on the wiki for reference:
