Enter and confirm a password for the SQL Server Administrator account to use to access the database instance, then click Next.
Select the binding protocol(s) WhatsUp Gold will use for the IIS website. You may select HTTPS, HTTP, or both depending on your specific security needs. If you are using an existing binding, select it from the applicable drop-down menu, then click Next. If your are adding a new binding, specify the desired port number(s) to use if you do not want to use the default port number(s) populated by the installer. If you chose to use HTTPS and a new binding will be added, specify the source of the certificate required for binding in the subsequent dialog. You may select a certificate from a certificate store, navigate to and select a certificate file on your local machine, or generate a self-signed certificate. Then, click Next to proceed.
Note: At this point in the workflow, if your license includes Log Management, please review the information found under Configure your Elasticsearch instance for use with Log Management in addition to the remaining procedure steps presented here.
Enter a password for the new Windows account created for dedicated WhatsUp Gold use, then click Next.
Note: You will only be presented with the Windows account dialog if you are updating the application from a version prior to WhatsUp Gold 2022 and the existing IIS configuration references the Windows account and that configuration has been modified from what was configured by the initial WhatsUp Gold installation prior to upgrade.
Click Proceed.
The WhatsUp Gold install program begins the installation.
When the installation program completes, click Finish.
