After generating the Connector in LoadMaster 360, you must then deploy the Connector Virtual Machine in your hypervisor. VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, Nutanix (Beta), and Microsoft Azure (Beta) are the hypervisors that are currently supported.

In a VMware environment, you can deploy the Connector Virtual Machine in ESXi, vCenter, or vSphere.

Note: Progress recommends that the Connector Virtual Machine has a minimum of 4 GB of RAM.
Note: The VMware Tools add-on is pre-installed on the Connector. This provides additional functionality and details for the Virtual Machine in vSphere.

When deploying the Connector Virtual Machine in Hyper-V, ensure Generation 1 is selected.

Note: LoadMaster 360 does not support the use of Generation 2 configured Virtual Machines.

Currently, access to modify the network settings of the Connector Virtual Machine is not supported. If you need to use a different IP address, deploy a new Connector through LoadMaster 360.

To deploy the Connector Virtual Machine in a Microsoft Azure environment, refer to the following section: .

After deploying the Connector Virtual Machine you can add existing LoadMasters on your network to LoadMaster 360.
