Note: Updating to 7.2.61 is only supported from 7.2.60.0 (or a later version).

You must be running 7.2.60.0 (or a later version) to update to 7.2.61.0. For more details, refer to the Upgrade Path section earlier in this document.

Refer to the following sections for details on the change notices relating to the 7.2.61 release.

Legacy WAF Engine Removed on Update

Updating to this release will remove the Legacy WAF engine permanently from the system. Legacy WAF appears in the User Interface (UI) as a separate tab in the Virtual Service configuration screen, which will be removed on update and cannot be re-installed.

The update process warns you of the removal of Legacy WAF and that any Virtual Services using it will be updated to use the latest WAF engine, with default values. Any custom rules that you have configured into the Legacy WAF engine will be removed.

The update process allows you to cancel the update. Please remember, however, that Legacy WAF was replaced in an earlier release by a newer WAF engine that uses automatically updated OWASP rules. Legacy WAF is no longer supported or updated. If you are still using Legacy WAF, we strongly encourage you to update your Virtual Services to use the new WAF engine.
