If you move a MOVEit WAF system to a different Virtual Machine, ensure that the MAC addresses of the Virtual Machine’s NICs stay the same. Static MAC addresses must be configured for all NICs within Virtual Machines.

A static MAC address is needed due to the license being tied to the MAC address. If the MAC address changes, the license can break and you must contact Progress Support to restore your license.
