To change the AWS instance type currently in use, first take a backup of MOVEit WAF configuration. . Then, deploy a new MOVEit WAF instance with the correct AWS instance type and restore the configuration from the backup.

Note: Changing the AWS instance of a working MOVEit WAF (without following these steps) can cause connectivity issues and you may lose access to the User Interface (UI) and MOVEit WAF configuration.
