Overview

Use Garland Prisms and Flowmon together to gain insights into your network traffic. This solution combines:

  • Garland Prisms for traffic collection
  • Flowmon modules for advanced analysis:
    • Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics (NPMD)
    • Network behavior analysis
    • Performance monitoring
    • Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) detection
    • On-demand packet capture

When you install Garland Prisms agents on your virtual instances, they route traffic copies to Flowmon's monitoring interfaces for processing.

Prerequisites

You must have:

  • A running instance of Flowmon (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • A number of running client instances where Garland Prisms agents can be installed.
