Local Storage Settings

The Local storage section of Settings allows you to configure the automatic file deletion for individual Flowmon Packet Investigator (FPI) groups. Files can be automatically deleted after a defined period (in days) or when the given group's quota threshold is exceeded (in percent). When the threshold is exceeded, the files are deleted (starting from the oldest) at an amount necessary to decrease the volume of locally stored data below the threshold.

The Local storage settings also allow you to merge all recordings into one file. When Merge all traffic into one file is checked, recordings from all probes are merged into a single PCAP file (default settings). Otherwise, a separate PCAP file is generated for each probe. This option can also be changed in the menu when creating a new recording.
