Service Names Assignment

This part of the configuration can be found in Settings → System Settings → Named services.

If there are services that run on unconventional ports in the monitored network, it is useful to add their assignment (port number-service name) to the Named services list. This assignment is used in event details of DOS and SRVNA detection methods. If the assignment is relevant only for some subnets, it is useful to use the IP address field or the Filter field to further specify the assignment.
