Known Issues

This section lists the current known issues with Progress Data Cloud. This list is updated as issues become known to the engineering team. If you wish to report any new issues or inquire about an issue that you are seeing, contact Progress Technical Support.

Breaking Changes

• Some API calls that referenced ServiceGroup now use /api/environments rather than /api/servicegroup. The old format will be supported until January 2027 to allow any users of the /api/servicegroup endpoint time to transition to the new endpoint. It is anticipated that very few deployments will be affected.
• Several SharePoint Online API endpoints were available to authenticated users without a specific role assignment, allowing configuration updates even when explicit permission was not granted. Beginning with Progress Data Cloud 1.5.0, these endpoints now require specific roles before they can be used. Users or service accounts that call these API endpoints must be updated to include the appropriate security role(s). See SharePoint Online API Role Requirement Changes for details.

General

• Contact Tenant Administrators option not always working correctly [#27164]
• There are display issues when resizing the Users and Roles pages [#20602]
• Classification Server service statistics ignore Classification Server traffic via SharePoint Online [#23458] and Semaphore Studio Document Analyzer [#23205]

Semaphore

• Open Concept and concept links are not working in the Semaphore Studio Document Analyzer (DA) component when running in Progress Data Cloud [#17445]

SharePoint Online

• Cancelling a term store synchronization process does not always happen immediately [#21195]
• Information on why a deployment to a SharePoint Online site collection failed is not always shown [#16096]
