Beginning with OpenEdge Release 12.0, OpenEdge Management is hosted on the Progress Application Server. Progress Application Server is a Tomcat Web server with Progress-specific configuration that enables OpenEdge Management to run independently of the AdminServer. This change also enables you to manage multiple local AdminServer instances in addition to remote AdminServer instances.
