PROWIN32/PROWIN command (Windows only)

Starts a graphical OpenEdge session. prowin starts a client process in Windows by running the prowin.exe executable on 64-bit OpenEdge installations. prowin32 starts a client process in Windows by running the prowin32.exe executable on 32-bit OpenEdge installations.

Syntax

prowin [db-name][parameters]

prowin32 [db-name][parameters]

Parameters

db-name

Specifies the database you want to connect to.

parameters

Specifies the session or connection parameters you want to use.
