OpenEdge Pro2 6.5 delivers the following enhancements: |
View Running Status of Bulk Load
The Pro2 bulk load process is used to load large amounts of data relatively quickly into target databases.
In this release, Pro2 provides an enhanced user experience by adding the Bulk Load Running Status pane on the Run Bulk Load page in the Pro2 web user interface. This pane displays the real-time status of the ongoing bulk load. In addition to the status of the bulk load process, granular data such as the number of tables successfully processed, left to process, or failed during bulk load is displayed on the status cards. The information on these cards is automatically updated every five seconds.
For more information, see Bulk load with Pro2.
Enhanced Mapping Page
The Mapping page dynamically loads the source and target tables for performing the mapping or unmapping operations.
Prior to this release, in tables with 100 or more fields, scrolling posed a challenge when selecting fields for mapping. Also, it was not possible to search the fields or provide a list of fields to be mapped on the target side.
- Search for a specific field to handle field-level custom mapping.
- Provide a comma-separated list of fields to be mapped or unmapped.
- View all the mapped and unmapped tables or fields on a single page.
The enhanced Mapping page enables you to manage the mapping and unmapping operations in a more efficient manner. As a result, the mapping process is now significantly faster.
For more information, see Mapping.
