Before you can begin using multi-tenancy with your OpenEdge deployment, you need to satisfy the following prerequisites.

Licenses

To use the Multi-Tenancy features you need the following licenses:
  • Enterprise Database License
  • Multi-Tenancy License

Environment

After you have acquired the necessary licenses, you must have:
  • OpenEdge installed and configured
  • A database that will be enabled for multi-tenancy
  • Identify tenants, domains, users, tenant groups, multi-tenant and shared tables.
