If you want to monitor a log file or other file and OpenEdge Management is installed in a supported Windows system, you must make sure that OpenEdge Management can see your mapped network drives.

To verify the mapped network drives in a Windows system:

  1. Open the Services app.
  2. Start the Progress OpenEdge AdminServer Service.
  3. Double-click the Progress OpenEdge AdminServer Service and then choose the Log On tab.
  4. Select This account and choose a user with administrative privileges for the account.
  5. Enter the password, and confirm the password entry.
  6. Click OK.
  7. If required, restart the AdminServer.

    Now you can define file-specific details to create and edit log file and file monitors.
