You can delete an inactive DataServer broker for MS SQL Server from the management console.
If a broker is running, you cannot delete it. You must first stop the broker and then delete it.
To delete an MS SQL Server DataServer broker:
- Click Resources in the management console menu. All resources managed by your console appear in the grid frame.
- Filter or search for the MS SQL DataServer you want to delete.
- From the list, click the MS SQL DataServer broker. The MSS DataServer details page appears.
- Click Delete, and then click OK to confirm the deletion.
