All alert types are logged in the OpenEdge Management log files fathom.log. An entry is added to the log file whenever an alert is either generated or cleared.

Note: Alerts are logged in the OpenEdge Management log file only if they are generated. If polling or alerting options are turned off, alerts are not generated.

OpenEdge Management log files are located in the $OEM/logs (C:\Progress\oemgmt\logs) folder. A new OpenEdge Management log file is created each day and its corresponding date is appended to the name of the log file—for example, fathom.2018-02-13.log.
