Several OpenEdge features enable you to manage running databases.

To manage running databases, you can:
  • Use online TDE DB Policy Management to update encrypted data-at-rest and create new DB encryption policies without disabling TDE.
  • Restrict database access for database utilities.
  • Disconnect a secondary broker without stopping the database.
