After a Data Object service is created, the service is listed under Defined Services. The entry in the project explorer enables you to modify or delete a service.

If you select a PAS for OpenEdge instance when creating a Data Object service, the service is added to the PAS for OpenEdge instance in the Servers view. You can ensure that a service has been published by looking at the status of the service. When a service is published to the PAS for OpenEdge instance, the status [Synchronized][Published] is displayed.

The entry in the Servers view enables you to add or remove a service from the PAS for OpenEdge instance.
