Corticon 7.3.1

New in Corticon 7.3.1 are the following features and enhancements:

  • Azure Key Vault – Adds secure Azure Key Vault integration for the AI Assistant, enabling organizations to centrally manage and control LLM credentials without storing Azure OpenAI API keys directly in Corticon Studio.
  • OpenAI 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6 – Corticon AI Assistant supports OpenAI 5.4, 5.5 and 5.6 as an LLM option, available via both OpenAI and Azure OpenAI. Securely configure your Azure API key or OpenAPI key and enjoy the latest advancements in AI-driven rule authoring.
  • Authentication enabled by default for Corticon Server – Corticon Server is now configured with Basic Authentication enabled by default in the axis.war (web.xml) file. Previously, no authentication requirement was configured by default. Basic Authentication is not recommended for production deployments. Customers should continue to modify web.xml to integrate Corticon Server with their enterprise authentication system. This change ensures that Corticon Server is no longer accessible without authentication by default and provides a clear reminder that production deployments should be configured to use the organization’s approved authentication mechanism.
  • JBOSS 8.1 Support – Corticon Server 7.3 is now certified and tested on JBOSS 8.1. See the Corticon Supported Platform Guide for full details on supported platforms.

Corticon 7.3.0

New in Corticon 7.3.0 are the following features and enhancements:

  • Open AI 4.1 and 5.0 models – New in 7.3, the Corticon AI Assistant also supports OpenAI 4.1 and 5.0 as an LLM option, available via both Open AI and Azure Open AI. Securely configure your Azure API key or Open API key and enjoy the latest advancements in AI-driven rule authoring. .
  • AI Test generation – The AI Assistant can now automatically generate input data for ruletests based on your rulesheet logic—providing a fast, intelligent way to validate rule behavior and guard against regressions. This enhancement significantly reduces the time and effort required to create comprehensive test coverage.

  • JSON export of Ruleflows – You can now extract a structured representation of any ruleflow, including the rules it invokes—making it easy to integrate with custom reporting tools or external documentation pipelines for compliance, audit, or governance purposes See Export a decision service as a JSON file.
  • Tomcat 11 Support – Corticon Server 7.3 is now certified and tested on Tomcat 11. See the Corticon Supported Platform Guide for full details on supported platforms.
  • Corticon Web Console 7.1 Compatibility – Corticon 7.3 includes Corticon Web Console 7.1 (latest release is 7.1.3). The 7.1 Web Console is fully compatible with Corticon 7.3. Do not copy the installed corticon.war file in an attempt an update to a newer version. Use the Web Console's dashboard Administration option to Export Configuration. After installing and configuring the 7.1.3 Web Console, start it, and then choose Import Configuration.
