When allowed by the site administrator, the MOVEit Transfer Register and Send Files feature can enable potential users to register and send files as a new (unregistered) user. Using this feature, you can send files to regular users or other users (when permitted by site policy).
Important: Check with the administrator or user who shared the site's information with you if you find that you cannot register or send a file. MOVEit Transfer organizational ("org") policy may deny/allow users (senders) to use this feature. (It will not work for all users.)

  1. At the bottom of the sign-on page, click Register and Send Files.

    The Register Files page displays.

  2. Enter the email address of the recipient to whom you are sending the package and your email address.
    Note: Depending on a specific security policy set by your site's MOVEit Administrator, this page might contain a Captcha box that requires you to type the displayed text. Captcha boxes verify you are a person (not an automated process).
  3. After you have completed the fields (and reCaptcha, if present), click Register.

    One of the following actions occurs:

    • You are signed on immediately. Or,
    • You receive a message that an email will be sent to you with information to complete the registration. Follow the instructions in the email.
