MOVEit Client

All current versions of the MOVEit Client are supported. Older versions will work with limited feature capabilities. Download the latest versions from the MOVEit Products page.

Outlook Ad Hoc Add-in (person-to-person transfer)

MOVEit Add Hoc Add-in for Microsoft Outlook is available to users that use Microsoft Outlook as specified in the client requirements published by Microsoft.

Outlook Add-in Client Requirements (Ad Hoc)

The MOVEit Transfer add-in is built on Microsoft’s web-based add-in architecture. To use it for your organization, your Microsoft mail solution must meet the minimum requirements for web-based add-ins and must support the Microsoft API feature set that is required for our add-in functionality

Microsoft 365 Subscription

Outlook clients connected to Microsoft 365 (minimum version 2008, build 13127.20296).

Exchange Online

If your organization does not use Microsoft 365, the add-in will also work Exchange Online and the following Outlook clients:

  • Your mail server must be configured to Exchange Online.
  • Your Outlook Client should be one of the following:
    • Retail perpetual Outlook 2016 and later.
    • Volume-licensed perpetual Outlook 2021.

Legacy Outlook Plug-in (Ad Hoc) (Retired)

The COM-based legacy Outlook Plug-in, also known as the "Ad Hoc Transfer Outlook Plugin" is retired. For more information, see the section titled COM-Based Outlook Plugin retired.

MOVEit Mobile

MOVEit Mobile is available for the following devices:

  • iOS (Apple devices). Available for download in the Apple App Store.
  • Android (Android OS devices). Available for download from Google Play.
