The following MOVEit Gateway 2022 settings are available:

  • Gateway's Host Name or IP Address: The name of the computer running Gateway 2022 as specified during installation. You can edit the name if required. Doing so will restart all running HTTP proxies. This setting is used to create HTTP redirects and is currently used only for client certificate authentication. The user's browser can use this hostname to access the Gateway system.
  • Passive Port Range (for FTP connections): The default range is 4000-4100. MOVEit Gateway cannot use the same FTP data ports as MOVEit Transfer. The number of ports allowed should not exceed the number allowed by MOVEit Transfer.
Note: A passive port range limits the number of concurrent transfers.
Note: You may be warned that any running FTP proxies will be restarted when changing the port range.
  • Trusted Host IP Address: The IP address of a load balancer that passes traffic to MOVEit Gateway and is sends the IP addresses of users via the X-Forwarded-For headers.
  • SSH Tunnel Auth Key (Requires Gateway service restart): The SSH Tunnel Authentication Key used by the MOVEit Transfer Server tunnel.
  • KeyStore and TrustStore Password Reset: To reset the MOVEit Gateway encrypted keystore and truststore passwords, enter new values in the password fields and click Update Passwords. The passwords are encrypted and saved in the configuration file. The keystores are encrypted with the updated passwords.
