Modifying an Existing Field

To modify an existing field, follow these steps:

1. Click the Fields link in the left tree menu. The Fields Summary page appears.

2. Click the name of the field you want to edit. The Field Configuration page appears.

3. If you want to change any of the settings, make any desired modifications and click OK.

4. Complete the procedure at one of these two places:

   • To modify a metadata field, start with Step 6 in Configuring a New Metadata Field.

   • To modify path and root fields, start with Step 12 in Configuring a New Path or Root Field.
