After initially deploying and powering on a Connection Manager, ideally the IP address of the Connection Manager will be obtained using DHCP.

If the IP address has not been obtained using DHCP, or if the address details of the Connection Manager need to be changed, the console can be used to configure the IP address of the Connection Manager, the default gateway address and the name server addresses. To go through this menu, simply log in to the console using the default username and password (bal and 1fourall).
