If your application was built with 32-bit system libraries, you must use the 32-bit driver. If your application was built with 64-bit system libraries, you must use the 64-bit driver.

The ODBC driver requires 132 MB of hard disk space at minimum.

Requirements for an application that will use the ODBC driver include:

  • It must be compatible with components that were built using a Microsoft Visual Studio compiler and the standard Win32 threading model.
  • ODBC header files must be used to compile your application. For example, Microsoft Visual Studio includes these files.

The following processors are supported:

  • x86: Intel
  • x64: Intel and AMD

For installation purposes, a supported JVM must be defined on your system path. For more on requirements and compatibility, see Product requirements.
