Progress® DataDirect® Hybrid Data Pipeline is a light-weight software service that provides simple, secure access to your cloud and on-premises data sources for your business intelligence tools and applications. Hybrid Data Pipeline may be deployed on a single node or as a cluster. The Hybrid Data Pipeline server may be installed directly on a Linux host, or it maybe deployed as a Docker container. Depending on your application environment, you may need to install supporting components such as the On-Premises Connector, the ODBC driver, or the JDBC driver.
The Hybrid Data Pipeline server must be deployed before installing supporting components. During the deployment of the server, configuration and certificate files are generated. These files must be used for the installation of Hybrid Data Pipeline components.
See the following topics for detailed instructions on deploying Hybrid Data Pipeline and supporting components.
-
Product requirements for the server and additional components.
-
Deployment scenarios and Deployment configurations
Deployment scenarios will in part determine how to deploy and configure the service.
-
Installing and upgrading the Hybrid Data Pipeline server
