The Manage IP WhiteList view allows you to create and manage IP address whitelists. (See Implementing IP address whitelists for details on the IP address whitelist feature.)

The Manage IP WhiteList view is available to users with either set of the following permissions.

  • Administrator (12) permission
  • WebUI (8) permission, IPWhiteList (29) permission, and administrative access on the given tenant

An administrator with the permissions to set IP address whitelists at more than one level will have the option to select the level. From the Select Level dropdown, select the level at which you want to apply IP address whitelists.

  • System applies the whitelist across the system.
  • Tenant applies the whitelist to a selected tenant.
  • User applies the whitelist to a specified user.

An administrator with administrative access to multiple tenants will have the option of selecting the tenant to which he or she wants to apply IP address whitelists. From the Select Tenant dropdown, select the tenant to which you want to apply IP address whitelists.

An administrator with administrative access to a tenant will have the option of selecting the user to which he or she wants to apply IP address whitelists. From the Select User dropdown, select the user to which you want to apply IP address whitelists.

To configure an IP address whitelist, click New IP Range. From the New IP Range window, select the resource for which you are creating the whitelist. Then, enter the IP address or IP address range you want to apply to the resource. IPv4 and IPv6 formats are supported. For details, see Implementing IP address whitelists.
