The Impala driver supports a broad set of DDL, including (but not limited to) the following:

  • CREATE Database and DROP Database
  • CREATE Table and DROP Table
  • ALTER Table and ALTER Partition statements
  • CREATE View and DROP View
  • CREATE Function and DROP Function
