Purchasing and activating the connector in the AWS Marketplace

To use the Salesforce connector in AWS Glue, you will need to purchase and subscribe to the connector from the AWS Marketplace.
Take the following steps to subscribe to the connector from the AWS Marketplace.
- Sign in to the AWS Glue Console.
- Click AWS Glue Studio from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Click AWS Marketplace from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Enter Progress DataDirect Cloud Connector in the search field to view Progress DataDirect connectors available on the AWS Marketplace.
- Select Progress DataDirect Cloud Connector for Salesforce.
- Review the pricing information; then, click Continue to Subscribe.
- Review the terms and conditions. If you agree, click Continue to Configuration.
- Confirm the values for the Delivery Method and Software Version drop-down menus; then, click Continue to Launch.
- Click Usage Instructions. Then click the provided link to activate the connector. To create a connection, proceed to Step 6 in "Creating a Salesforce connection in AWS Glue Studio."
