Purchasing and activating the connector in the AWS Marketplace

To use the BigQuery connector in AWS Glue, you will need to purchase and subscribe to the connector from the AWS Marketplace.
Take the following steps to subscribe to the connector from the AWS Marketplace.
- Sign in to the AWS Glue Console.
- Select AWS Glue Studio from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Select Marketplace from the left-hand navigation menu.
- Enter Progress DataDirect Cloud Connector in the search field to view Progress DataDirect connectors available on the AWS Marketplace.
- Select Progress DataDirect Cloud Connector for Google BigQuery.
- Review the pricing information; then, click Continue to Subscribe.
- Review the terms and conditions. If you agree, click Continue to Configuration.
- Confirm the values for the Delivery Method and Software Version drop-down menus; then, click Continue to Launch.
- Click Usage Instructions. Then click the provided link to activate the connector. To create a connection, proceed to Step 6 in "Creating an Google BigQuery connection in AWS Glue."
